The source of information for our data analysis comes from the utilization of local data obtained from:
- HIV/AIDS Surveillance program of Puerto Rico
- Puerto Rico National HIV Behavioral System (PR-NHBS)
In our analysis, we tackle different approaches:
- HIV prevalence in PR
- Prevalence of behaviors associated with exposure to HIV
- Patterns related to the utilization of services directed towards HIV/AIDS
- Exposure and use of prevention services
The publication of the results of this study is one of the central elements of DAPuC. This publication allows us to identify behavioral tendencies and contribute to the development of public policy.
