As a research group, one of our efforts has been to translate the results of our HIV research into different materials, such as educational capsules and infographics intended to form the first virtual library of publications. The aim of this virtual library is to convey the results of these investigations, and achieve an adequate transfer of knowledge to the general population.
Our team has massively disseminated the materials created through different communication channels (social networks, institutional emails, printed material) during awareness-raising activities aimed at the prevention of STDs and HIV.
We have had the opportunity to disseminate to our collaborators, community organizations, 330 centers, HIV service providers, research groups and academia during:
- National Latino Day of HIV Awareness (October 15)
- National HIV Testing Day (June 27)
- World HIV / AIDS Day (December 1)
